Mechanical Engineer (Onsite, 1st Shift – Stoughton, WI)

Pay Rate: $35/hour

Hours: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Stoughton, WI team. This hands-on role involves overseeing data quality, running validation and verification tests, performing data analysis, and collaborating closely with test requestors. Candidates should have 2–4 years of relevant engineering experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. A background in coding is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines, and mechanical devices.
• Conduct validation and verification testing to ensure quality and functionality.
• Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and process capability assessments.
• Investigate equipment failures, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed technical diagrams and engineering documentation, including dimensions, fastening methods, and specifications.
• Collaborate with drafters and cross-functional teams to develop mechanical systems and solutions.
• Analyze test results and use data-driven methods for problem-solving and decision-making.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• 2–4 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with testing, data analysis, and validation/verification processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports.
• Familiarity with engineering software such as CAD; MATLAB experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FMEA, process capability, and structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 7-Step).
• Detail-oriented and team-focused, with creativity and technical expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coding or programming background.
• Experience managing engineering data and test reporting.
