Position Description: Logistics Support Analyst
Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute provisioning efforts for assigned programs, including research, development, preparation, and maintenance of provisioning parts data.
- Prepare and deliver provisioning documentation to internal and external customers using advanced provisioning and sparing techniques.
- Develop various provisioning and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) records in compliance with applicable military standards.
- Create technical content for:
- Spare parts lists
- Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD)
- Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB)
- Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL)
- Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs)
- Analyze spare and repair part requirements and provide project estimates.
Skills Required:
- In-depth knowledge of applicable Military Standards for Logistics Management Information (LMI) data development.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Skilled in defining and forecasting support requirements.
- Familiarity with logistics design influence and related processes.
- Proficient with computer software and tools used for LMI activities.
- Capable of planning and documenting logistics resource development, testing, and deployment using LSA/Logistics Support Analysis Records (LSAR).
- Strong communication skills for conducting customer meetings, validations/verifications, demonstrations, and reviews.
- Advanced computer literacy with a focus on interpreting engineering drawings and Military Standards.
Skills Preferred:
- Experience with LMI applications in a defense environment.
- Basic understanding or awareness of the ten Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements.
Experience Required:
- Education/Experience Equivalency:
- Relevant Associate degree + 6 years of additional experience, or
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of additional experience.

- Experience working in a defense environment with a focus on LMI applications.
