Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of production and operating workers to ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes. This role is critical to promoting a safe, motivated, and high-performing team while optimizing production methods and maintaining operational records.
Key Responsibilities

Employee Management: Recommend measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.

Problem Solving: Review operations and collaborate with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.

Process Improvement: Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, and analyze production, quality control, and maintenance data to detect and address problems.

Staff Administration: Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.

Reporting: Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Analytical mindset with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
