Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to support our ISO 9001-certified, 24/7 emulsion polymerization manufacturing operations. In this role, you will conduct analytical testing to ensure product quality, support manufacturing processes, and uphold our commitment to safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory analyses on emulsion polymerization products and plant wastewater to support in-process and finished goods manufacturing.
- Accurately measure and analyze physical and chemical properties, including pH, viscosity, solids, particle size distribution, and product composition using GC, HPLC, FTIR, titrations, and other methods.
- Enter, retrieve, and manage data using LIMS (IQS), SAP, and other software platforms.
- Communicate analytical results clearly, both in documentation and with colleagues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, laboratory procedures, and quality standards; maintain clean and organized lab environment.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in all analyses and reporting.
- Support ongoing improvement initiatives and participate in troubleshooting as needed.
- This position may begin as a temporary assignment with the potential for full-time employment.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Education:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science discipline, with at least 6+ months of relevant industrial laboratory experience
OR
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant laboratory experience in industrial, QA/QC, R&D, Analytical, or Environmental settings.
Experience:
- At least 2+ years in a laboratory environment, preferably with increasing responsibilities.
- Experience working with QA/QC or R&D in a manufacturing or production setting is strongly preferred.

Work Schedule
- Willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends.
- Schedules typically alternate between 36-hour weeks (3 days at 12 hours each) and 48-hour weeks (4 days at 12 hours each), with non-consecutive days off.
