Account Receivable Coordinator – Warren, MI
Contract: 12 months with possible extension/direct hire
Schedule: 8-5pm, M-F; Hybrid, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office
Compensation: $20/hour with optional PTO and Benefits (Medical/Denta/Vision/401k)

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for computing, classifying, and recording numerical data to ensure accurate financial records. This position utilizes a broad range of technology, including specialized accounting software, and may perform functions closely related to computers to support the organization’s accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities

Record Keeping: Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and maintain accurate financial records, utilizing journals, ledgers, or computer systems.

Billing and Statements: Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial documents in accordance with established procedures.

Account Management: Debit, credit, and total accounts using spreadsheets, databases, and specialized accounting software to ensure timely and accurate records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking ability.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in applying accounting and mathematical principles as needed.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and company accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Prior experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other accounting software.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s degree in accounting or related financial discipline preferred.
- 2-4 years of financial and/or accounting experience required.
