Creo Designer
Location: Troy, MI (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $35-38/hour
Hours: 7AM- 4PM
Work Authorization: US Citizen required
Position Overview
Join our team as a Creo Designer, where you’ll take full ownership for the design and release of vehicle sub-systems and components, from initial concept through to production. You will be an essential member of our engineering team, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions with precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and release vehicle sub-systems and components, managing the process from concept to production release.
- Participate in, and often lead, design reviews to ensure quality and timely delivery according to program needs.
- Communicate design status, open issues, and project updates clearly with all stakeholders.
- Maintain proactive and professional contact with assigned customers utilizing WebEx, email, and phone to understand requirements and provide development updates.
- Resolve technical challenges in the design and packaging of HEV/PHEV components by developing feasible solutions.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with CREO (Pro/ENGINEER) CAD software.
- Proven expertise in vehicle packaging for automotive systems and integration.
- Strong proficiency with digital engineering tools; Teamcenter experience preferred.
- Knowledge and hands-on skills in the development and packaging of HEV/PHEV components.
- Demonstrated ability to independently resolve design and engineering challenges.
- Effective participation in multidisciplinary teams; leads design reviews with clarity.
- Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- US Citizenship required.
