Position Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Toledo, OH
Contract: 12 months (likely extension/direct hire)
Schedule: Mon-Sat (5pm-5:30am) Working 3 to 4 weekends out of the month.
Compensation: $40-43/hour | OT = 1.5x anything over 40 hours, and 2x on Sundays, optional PTO/Paid Holidays, and Optional Benefits
Position Summary:
The main responsibility of a Production Supervisor is to oversee and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Recommend measures to motivate employees and enhance production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
- Review operations and work closely with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing issues.
- Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems; analyze production, quality control, and maintenance data to identify production problems.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff; resolve personnel grievances.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills or Certifications: No specific technical skills or certifications required, but Lean Manufacturing certifications are a significant plus.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive manufacturing is required.
- Skills: Problem-solving, continuous improvement knowledge, strong communication skills, collaborative teamwork, and decisive decision-making abilities. Automotive experience is mandatory.
