What You’ll Do

As an Electrical Technician II, you will:

  • Build, install, and test wiring harnesses on vehicles and workbenches.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, schematics, and P&IDs.
  • Perform diagnostics, safety checks, and functional tests on electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot, rework, and repair wiring—including soldering, de-pinning, and reverse engineering harnesses.
  • Install electrical hardware, lighting, brackets, and components in vehicles and custom test boxes.
  • Maintain shop equipment, follow safety protocols, and participate in daily organization and clean-up.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, customers, and fellow technicians on technical projects.


What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of hands-on electrical experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in crimping, soldering, and using hand/power tools.
  • Ability to read schematics and perform electrical diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate in Automotive Electrical Technology or a related field.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience installing components on circuit boards.
  • Familiarity with automotive powertrain or electric battery systems.
  • Broad understanding of vehicle systems such as chassis, thermal, interiors, and exteriors.
