Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and mission-ready Field Service Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and fielding of advanced military diagnostic platforms, including Direct Support Electrical System Test Sets (DSESTS) and the Next Generation Automatic Test System (NGATS). This role supports military vehicle sustainment by providing on-site technical expertise for automated test equipment used to identify and resolve complex electrical faults in combat and tactical vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain DSESTS and NGATS systems in support of military maintenance operations.
• Interpret test results and assist in identifying root causes of electrical, electronic, and line-replaceable unit (LRU) failures on ground combat vehicles.
• Support the calibration, validation, and configuration of automated test systems to ensure operational readiness.
• Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to military personnel on proper diagnostic system use and maintenance.
• Generate technical reports, logbooks, and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Travel to military installations, forward support locations, and integration/test sites as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics or electrical systems diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience with DSESTS and/or NGATS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of military vehicle electrical systems and schematic interpretation.
• Proficiency in the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work independently in high-tempo environments and interface professionally with military personnel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Military background or prior experience supporting U.S. Army ground systems.
• Associates degree in Electronics Technology or related field.
• Familiarity with Army maintenance procedures and technical manuals (TMs).

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in field environments and travel up to 75% of the time.
• May involve deployments to austere environments in support of customer needs.
