Senior Cloud Engineer – Direct Hire

Location: Hybrid/Remote (Must be able to commute to Oshkosh, WI; Frederick, MD; or McConnellsburg, PA)

Salary: $91,000 – $153,000 + 7.5% OIP Bonus

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to drive cloud adoption, innovation, and seamless integration across our enterprise systems. You will implement security controls, manage identities and access, and ensure robust data backup and disaster recovery processes. This role involves evaluating cloud vendor solutions, supporting infrastructure, and enabling operational excellence.

Work Location

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office / 2 days remote
• Primary office: Global Headquarters, Oshkosh, WI (relocation assistance available)
• Other eligible office locations:
• Frederick, MD
• McConnellsburg, PA

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support for the cloud ecosystem: installations, configurations, deployments, updates, and integrations.
• Use tools like Azure Kubernetes, Terraform Enterprise, GitHub, or equivalents.
• Maintain deep knowledge of public/private clouds, IaaS, data security, system messaging, and data feeds.
• Triage and resolve cloud issues and outages efficiently.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with leadership designs and plans.
• Work cross-functionally with server, storage, support, database, security, and IT teams.
• Adopt and implement new cloud technologies, automation tools, and best practices.
• Monitor and analyze cloud performance metrics.
• Apply advanced knowledge in at least one cloud area: databases, virtualization, containerization, DevOps, networking, servers, or scripting.
• Coordinate activities across database, applications, and infrastructure teams.
• Follow ITIL processes, manage tickets, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Design, implement, and operate complex technical solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of related cloud engineering experience.
• Strong skills in monitoring, troubleshooting, scripting, deployment, integration, messaging, automation, and orchestration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, time management, teamwork, attention to detail, and customer service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
