Electrical Engineer III
Location: Torrance, CA
Contract: 3–6 months, with potential for extension or direct hire
Schedule: Onsite | 9/80 schedule, 8:00 AM start
Compensation: $79–$82/hour
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer III to join our team in Torrance, CA. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize electrical systems and products, contributing to projects that push the boundaries of innovation. You’ll work in a collaborative environment with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
What You’ll Do
Design & Development
- Create electrical systems, components, and products according to project requirements.
- Build and test prototypes to ensure functionality, performance, and safety.
System Analysis
- Analyze electrical systems and circuits using calculations and simulation software.
- Identify issues, troubleshoot effectively, and propose innovative solutions.
Project Management
- Plan and manage engineering projects, including timelines, resources, and team coordination.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Technical Documentation
- Prepare detailed documentation, including schematics, diagrams, specifications, and test reports.
- Maintain accurate records of design changes and project progress.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure designs comply with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other professionals to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
- Communicate clearly to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
Research & Innovation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrical engineering.
- Propose innovative solutions to enhance product performance and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Technical Skills: Expertise in electrical circuit design, analysis, and simulation; knowledge of electrical codes and CAD tools.

Experience: Previous experience in electrical engineering or similar roles; hands-on experience with testing equipment and manufacturing processes is a plus.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop creative solutions.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills; able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
